July 4, 2012- Freedom Run.
8:00 am – 12:00 pm Reedsburg Area Medical Center will be hosting its 2nd annual Freedom Run/Walk 5K on Wednesday, July 4, 2012.  This event was originally only open to RAMC employees.  However, the Health and Fitness Committee has decided to open this event to the community in an effort to raise money for the Freedom Fest Fireworks Fund.  The cost of this event is $10 if participants pre-register before July 4th.  Race day registration will be $15 but all dogs and kids under 12 are FREE!  Runners or walkers just starting out can enjoy a Fee 1 mile option just for fun.  Dress in the most red, white and blue you can find for a chance to win more prizes!  The event will end with music, refreshments and an award ceremony. July 16 – 20, 2012- Horse Camps at Red Ridge Ranch Riding Stable. 9:00 am – 5:00 pm  “Horse Wishes Day Camp” is a week long camp for students at least 8 years old. Throughout the week they will have a horse to care for; brush, saddle, feed, and clean up after. Each day will include a lesson and trail ride. We also have daily demonstrations and hands-on projects about horse ownership. The week ends with a show for friends where the students demonstrate their newly acquired skills. Our camp is designed to give hands-on experience in a safe environment with horses. We also have an option for a day camp called “Spend A Day Camp.” This camp is held Monday – Saturday 9 am – 5 pm and people of all ages may attend except under 8 yrs will need to have an adult accompany them. July 23 – July 27, 2012- Horse Camps, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm  “Horse Wishes Day Camp” is a week long camp for students at least 8 years old. Throughout the week they will have a horse to care for; brush, saddle, feed, and clean up after. Each day will include a lesson and trail ride. We also have daily demonstrations and hands-on projects about horse ownership. The week ends with a show for friends where the students demonstrate their newly acquired skills. Our camp is designed to give hands-on experience in a safe environment with horses. We also have an option for a day camp called “Spend A Day Camp.” This camp is held Monday – Saturday 9 am – 5 pm and people of all ages may attend except under 8 yrs will need to have an adult accompany them.
