Faith Leaders for Healthy Relationships, in partnership with Hope House, and with funding from the Greater Sauk County Community Foundation. This workshop was developed from two guidebooks from the Pennsylvania and Texas state coalitions against sexual assault to help people of faith appropriately respond to survivors of sexual abuse. Topics include the forms and impact of sexual abuse, the legal definition of consent, appropriate ways to handle disclosures, trauma-informed care and self-care, the medical and legal system, supporting survivors spiritually, working with perpetrators, and raising awareness within churches.
