Reedsburg City Hall
The City of Reedsburg is managed by a staff of approximately 80 full-time and part-time employees in the various departments. The City Administrator is employed full-time. The Mayor of Reedsburg is elected every two years, and the City Council consists of nine members elected to staggered three-year terms of office. There are two alderpersons in each of four aldermanic districts, and one alderperson who represents the entire city. All boards, commissions and committees of the city have citizen members.
Reedsburg Police Department
The Reedsburg Police Department has been proudly protecting and serving the citizens of Reedsburg since 1868. From modest beginnings, the police department has grown to 20 fulltime police officers. They consist of the Chief of Police, a Lieutenant, three Sergeants assigned to each of the three patrol shifts, a Detective, a Canine Handler, a School-Liaison Officer, and twelve patrol officers. The police department also maintains its own dispatch center, which operates around-the-clock. The dispatch center and reception area are staffed by nine civilian employees who handle calls for service, counter calls, and records requests. The operation of the Reedsburg Fire Department comes under the supervision of the Fire and Police Commission and is directed by the Fire Chief. Organized on a volunteer basis, at present there are 38 members on the city fire department and there are 16 on the rural fire department. There are eight trucks serving the city and rural departments as well as foam generating equipment and a rescue unit, complete with hydraulic cutting equipment. Regular inspections of all commercial and industrial property in Reedsburg are made by the department’s fire inspector.

Reedsburg Utility Commission
Since 1894, Reedsburg Utility Commission has seen the Reedsburg community flourish. The cornerstone of this not-for-profit, municipally owned and operated utility is “local people working together to meet local needs” – that’s just where the benefits to the community start. Reedsburg City Parks & Facilities
- Anna Stone Park- 300 W. 2nd Street, Reedsburg, WI. This small neighborhood park is located in the southwest part of the city. The playing field is also used as an ice rink during the winter months.

City Park-222 N. Park Street, Reedsburg, WI. Centrally located, City Park is close to Reedsburg’s downtown. This popular park hosts several community functions such as art fairs, the annual Easter Egg Hunt and Concerts in the Park.

- Ernstmeyer Park- Joseph Circle. Located on Reedsburg’s north side, this is the city’s only designated tot lot. It has a small play structure, tot swings and other activities that appeal to preschool-age youngsters.
- Huntington Park- 1400 Wellington Dr., Reedsburg, WI. This small neighborhood park located on the city’s northeast side consists of playground equipment, a small picnic shelter and a half basketball court.

Nishan Park- 1700 8th Street, Reedsburg, WI. Nishan Park, located on the city’s northeast side, is the well-known host of the annual Reedsburg Butter Festival. Nishan has six ball fields, an outdoor volleyball court and is also used as a soccer facility when needed. The park also contains the RACA, a multi-use facility for hockey and special events, and the Lions/Jaycees Building which is also used for special events. - North Park- 1301 19th Street, Reedsburg, WI. This spacious park is located on the city’s northeast side and is used for numerous outdoor activities. The park, which partly serves as a water retention area, was dedicated by the Reedsburg Memorial Hospital Foundation.

Oak Park- 550 N. Oak Street, Reedsburg, WI. Serving the north-central part of Reedsburg, this highly-used park has many facilities that are available for the recreation enthusiast. On a historical note, the park was home to the state’s first Little League games.

Popple Nature Area-425 N. Webb Avenue, Reedsburg, WI. Located west of Webb Park and the swimming pool, the Popple Nature Area is the city’s premiere nature area and walking trail. The area consists of the Baraboo River, Half Moon Lagoon and Hay Creek. Dogs are allowed on a leash.

Ramsey Park-433 S. Preston Street, Reedsburg, WI. This small neighborhood park, located on the southwest side of Reedsburg, is popular for basketball and baseball.

- Roloff Park- 231 Barbara Ann Dr., Reedsburg, WI. This small neighborhood park located on the city’s north side features a play structure geared for children ages 6 – 12.
Skate Park-145 Granite Ave., Reedsburg, WI. Located just south of the 400 Trail and west of the Baraboo River on Granite Avenue, this facility provides skateboarders and rollerbladers a variety of jumps and ramps. The park is open from dawn to dusk as weather permits.
- Smith Conservancy- Granite Avenue, Reedsburg, WI. A small wooded wetland area that lies along the Baraboo River on the city’s southwest side, this area supports many forms of wildlife. Dogs are allowed on a leash.

South Park-850 Division Street, Reedsburg, WI. South Park, located on Reedsburg’s south side, provides the community access to the Baraboo River for activities such as fishing and canoeing. The park also has a small pond and a popular freshwater spring. Restrooms and a small shelter surrounded by some of the oldest trees in town provide an excellent picnic area.

Webb Park-425 N. Webb Avenue, Reedsburg, WI. Webb Park is centrally located and provides a variety of recreational activities. The park is home to the municipal swimming pool and tennis courts. Webb Park’s picnic shelters make it a popular place for family and company picnics.

- Willow Park- 344 S. Willow Street (Located on the city’s southeast side, this neighborhood park serves a family-oriented area of Reedsburg.)

Facility Reservations: Shelters in most Reedsburg parks are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, the pavilions in Webb Park, Nishan Park and Oak Park as well as the RACA (Reedsburg Area Community Arena) are available for reservations. Reedsburg Ball Fields and Concession Stands
Baseball and softball fields may be reserved as availability allows at Nishan Park and Oak Park. Nishan Park also offers a concession stand that is located between the fields.

Reedsburg Park Shelters
Shelters are available for reservation in Webb Park, Nishan Park and Oak Park.
Although they are not required, it is necessary to have reservations to guarantee availability on a requested date. Some picnic tables are included with the rental of the pavilions. Additional tables may be rented for $5 each.

RACA (Reedsburg Area Community Arena)
Located in Nishan Park, the RACA building is abailable for rent from May 1 to September 15. The 200′ x 120′ building has attached bathrooms and kitchen facilities. A limited number of picnic tables are available with the rental of this building.
